About Us

Seasca is a small online home textiles boutique based in Ramelton, County Donegal, Ireland, founded and run by Carmel Patterson.

The name comes from the Gaelic word for "sixty" (pronounced shass-ka) — a quiet tribute to the milestone birthday that finally gave me the courage to begin this new chapter.

I offer a carefully chosen collection of handmade textiles: embroidered cushions, hand-loomed rugs, blankets and bedcovers. The designs draw primarily from Irish heritage and Celtic imagery, while also embracing other rich textile traditions — from Scandinavian to Kyrgyz — each piece brought to life by skilled artisans.

Every item in the shop is selected for its character and its ability to bring genuine story and warmth into a home. As a small business, I aim to offer something more thoughtful: from the designs I choose to the craftsmanship behind every piece, each one celebrates a strong sense of place and heritage.
