This exquisite Vintage style cushion cover is a beautifully detailed textile recreation of the historic 1914 Danish Christmas Seal (Julemærke).

In 1904, Denmark invented the world’s very first Christmas Seal to raise money for children battling illness. By 1914, as World War I began to reshape Europe, Denmark released this specific "child and doves" design. Though designed before the war, the image of feeding white doves quickly became a profound symbol of hope, peace, and charity for a generation seeking comfort.
